historic charm but needs better upkeep

The hotel has a rich history that adds a unique sense of character. The downtown location is fantastic, with easy access to a shuttle service right across the square.

The queen room was incredibly small and felt outdated.

    charming hotel
    beautiful staircase
    questionable cleanliness
    service issues
    credit card mishap

Exploring this charming hotel revealed a wonderful historical ambiance, with captivating artifacts and a beautiful staircase. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired, as I found bedding that appeared unwashed. Additionally, service issues arose when a credit card mishap took three days to resolve, underscoring a frustrating experience despite the inviting atmosphere.

    vintage decor

    spacious room
    parking hassle

The vintage decor is stunning, giving a real taste of the Old West. Our stay was comfortable, and I loved the spacious feel of the high ceilings in our room. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome during our visit.

In my wife’s opinion, parking was a real hassle for a larger family. We struggled to find space for our big vehicle after a long drive. Adding more parking options would help families relax after a long day.

    cleanliness issues

Charming antique decor adds a unique touch, complete with fascinating historical artifacts scattered throughout the lobby. The location is a gem, with easy access to nearby attractions and vibrant local events that kept the atmosphere lively.

The cleanliness left much to be desired, with debris on the floor and stained sheets suggesting a need for better maintenance. The bar and restaurant were closed during my stay, which was disappointing since dining options were limited, and the lack of breakfast availability contradicted earlier promises. Also, I noticed a weird smell that lingered in the center of my room, which was quite off-putting. Hot water took a while to kick in, and the outdated facilities could really use an upgrade for better comfort.

The room had a cozy historic vibe, featuring a flat-screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The bed was comfy, and the heating worked well. The only downside was the thin toilet paper and limited outlets. Plus, I enjoyed the fitness center and massage services for some relaxation after a long day exploring.
